Hi Guys and Gals, I am back on Home Friends to spread the word and get your ideas. This website seems to reach hundreds of people. The reason for this post is for another event. Last party "The Noob Bash" that was held at Sully's Bar was so much fun. So we have decided to throw another party! And I hope to get feedback and ideas this time. The date has been set. Super Bowl Sunday. 02-07-10. PSN cards will be rewarded but, there is no set theme for the party.
Lets try to post ideas this week for something cool. The space and costumes are not yet decided. Everyone is welcome to post some sort of idea to make it fun. Post ideas on spaces, themes, and most importantly, should we need a bookie to help out with gambling the psn cards off? I have one psn card for the party, and anyone is welcome to donate another.
Thanks to the people trying to make this event something that we can enjoy!

i could be the bookie. also, make this party something where ANYONE could wear what they want. The place could be at the mothership hangar or the warhawk space. They are very empty and would be good for a party.
I love ps3 it's so fun!

How about at the current "defunct old Red Bull Air Race space" or "closed off Singstar VIP lounge" to hold the party? The only problem is that we need to infect couple of users (our friends) and let them get to those two space and fav it and invite their friends over for the party. If you guys need to get invited over to those two location my PS3 ID is Art_of_Ronin. Take care. Oh! If we hold it at Singstar VIP lounge at least we have music to boot too.

Well, now just the matter of seeing who else can come up with a better ideas and location to hold the party (dips not included
). Can't wait with the final posting on the time when the party is held. I will keep an eye out with the post here.P.S.: R_T I thought your PS3 gone out of commission with the YLOD? Did you get a new PS3 again or this time the PC shop fix your YLOD problem for good proper?

teen u should do the party somewere no1 goes if ur throwing a private party for us and ur friends (like warhawk or try to get a pirvate vip server) i hope ill b there 8) *someones says HE GUNNA CRASH THE PARTY* *hits him with a bottle b quiet mansion lol jk* btw u how will we b able to win the psn cards? lol

I dont know how gambling works. Thats a problem, might be a bad idea. still plenty of time to figure it out. maybe pick a number again idk.

if very few ppl r willing to give psn cards, then we will not do psn gambling. u did not give a certain time so how about 5pm pt? and i have now decided it may b best 2 make the costumes anything ps3 related ( such as clothes that are from video games like assassins creed 2, resistance, echochrome, etc. and even the psn purchasable clothing. ) Does this sound good, or do you prefer any clothing?

Costume party doesn't sound too bad. 5pm PST the party starts, not bad either, that would be 8pm EST where I am.

Too bad private spaces only hold 12 people. I got the SVER MAG Apartment today from a Amazon pre-order. Would have been perfect to have a party at. Has a nice sounding radio even.

You know to prevent guest trash talking and trolling I think the guest feature should just be removed altogether. It will prevent impersonation, unecessary drama and hatred from spawning in these forums.
It should be noted as well that technically the guest who decide to post on here are not actually in accord with the forum rules and terms of service for IP Board. Those mainly apply to people who actually make accounts.
Having said this, if people want to start hate speech on these forums will have to sign up onto these forums - assuming they are not scared to just be permanently banned from accesing this website. That way they are in full accordance with forum rules and terms of service for IP board. It would definitely make future users who troll or hate on others in here less likely to start unecessary conflict.
